Una vida de pel\u00edcula\u201d<\/p>\n<p>TORREVIEJA (08\/01\/2025).<br \/>\nEl concejal de Cultura, Antonio Quesada, acompa\u00f1ado por Juan Francisco Cayuelas y Jos\u00e9 Francisco S\u00e1nchez, han presentado en la ma\u00f1ana de hoy los actos conmemorativos del 125 aniversario del nacimiento de Francisco Casanovas (1899-1986), un m\u00fasico que Torrevieja tuvo la suerte de acoger durante un tiempo y dej\u00f3 una huella imborrable. Un gran maestro de maestros, como del gran Zubin Mehta, quien es el presidente de honor de los actos.<\/p>\n<p>El maestro Francisco Casanovas fue tambi\u00e9n compositor de una gran cantidad de obras sinf\u00f3nicas y de m\u00fasica de c\u00e1mara. Compositor del actual himno de la India y gran amigo del Rabrindanath Tagore. Con su flauta, fue solista con prestigiosos directores por medio mundo y tras una vida musical intensa llega a Torrevieja en 1970 con 70 a\u00f1os de edad, donde se hizo cargo del puesto de director de la\u00a0Uni\u00f3n Musical Torrevejense\u00a0(UMT) y de su academia musical hasta el mes de octubre de 1981.
